The two choreographers Alexandre Fandard and Leila Ka will transmit their languages, training and creative tools through the laboratory. A material composed of gestures and significant body states that speak of humanity. The body, its physical and sonorous presence and also the gaze are used as an extension of the choreographic language.

The two authors meet to convey two complementary poetics between dance and circus. Sara Angius, choreographer and dancer, starts from the body to develop the movements of the character, its possible forms and the gestures that characterize it capable of returning a narrative. Jorge Mendez, researcher of eccentric acrobatics and slapstick, breaks the straight and stylized lines of gymnastics and dance to offer an accidental image during execution. An excellent opportunity to learn this fantastic stage tool where you will deepen the study of stage fight, strikes with all types of furniture and structures, horizontal falls and slides.

A journey that begins and ends in the body. The body as an instrument of movement. What is our personal tonality, how to shape and refine the notes that allow us to express ourselves through the body. A personal and inner exploration: one of the main themes of the meeting will be the use of external impulses, which are beyond our control, seeking for the body to be awake and ready to receive new forms of movement. Another key will be working on sensations. Representing sensations is, for us, what sums up the scene, telling something and that the audience gets excited with you, or gets angry, that it lives inside us, that the language of movement can come firsthand. At the same time we will provide technical movement tools to bring them to everyone's personal vision and field. These tools will serve as a basis throughout the workshop. However, we believe that there is no correct way, but rather what exists is everyone's way of seeing and experiencing the movement.

FINAL CREATION
Edoardo Demontis, Salvatore Frasca, Philine Dahlmann accompany the participating artists in the construction of the collective creation at the end of the course. A precious week in which the participating artists can test the creative tools studied during the program and get to know new stimuli resulting from the direction of the Side Cirque artists, who will share their poetics and their staging and presentation techniques. At the end of the week and at the conclusion of the itinerary, the final creation will be presented to the public, a great opportunity to share the scene and experience collective work.

TO REGISTER FOR THE 5 WEEK INTENSIVE PROGRAM OF THEATER ANATOMY:

• Completed and signed copy of the registration form (including consent for privacy)
• Payment receipt:
for the complete course, the deposit required for enrollment is 400 euros, the remaining 700 euros must be paid by 25 August 2021
for a single week a payment of 250 euros is required.
Enrollment in the 5-week intensive program has a total cost of 1,100 euros (including enrollment, insurance and membership card).
Registration for a single week costs 250 euros.
Overnight stays and meals are not included in the course, we are available to put you in contact with affiliated facilities for board and lodging).
